Purpose: hike to Preikestolen – Pulpit Rock, take a walk in Stavanger and see Sverd i Fjell – Swords in Rock.
Where: south-west Norway, Stavanger, Tau, Preikestolen, Lysefjord.
When: end of September 2017.
From-to: flying from Gdańsk Airport, Poland and arriving to Sola Airport near Stavanger. Bus to Stavanger Fiskepiren harbor and a ferry from Stavanger to Tau. Then a bus from Tau harbor straight to Preikestolen hiking trail start.
A weekend trip (2 days) by plane to Norway, Stavanger. Main purpose was to visit Pulit Rock. There was constantly some rain (not much) but rain is pretty usual in Norway. However the second day was sunny. The hike to Pulpit Rock was not recommended that day because of that rain and some wind supposedly strong at the top. There was a sign with this information at the beginning of the trail. We went up. Trail was not difficult, only the rocks were a bit slippery because of the rain. Pretty views on the top at Lysefjord. At the time there were very few people on the top of Pulpit Rock. On sunny days it is not possible to spend time in there without crowds.
Stavanger is full of street art. Architecture is very consistent, the same style of houses siding panels and colors everywhere, mostly white.

Another trip to Tatras.
Another trip to Tatras.
Purpose: to climb in south-east Spain, in different areas, also close to the coast. To swim in Mediterranean Sea and see spanish cities. But mostly rock climbing with group of climbers.
Where: south-east Spain; Calpe, Alicante, Benigembla.
When: beginning of November 2014.
From-to: flying from Gdańsk Airport, Poland and arriving to Barcelona El Prat Airport. Night trip with rented car to Benigembla village.
This trip was fully organised not by me, including transport, climbing gear, places to visit. I really enjoyed the climat of Spain, hot weather with no rain during whole trip. Climbing in natural environment was great there, swimming in Costa Blanca too. I liked the flora of this region, I saw fruiting opuntias, khaki trees, orange and lemon trees, olive trees and date palms. There was a lot of rosemary shrubs growing on the rocks. The transition from day to night was very short. It was chilly in the morning and everything outside was a bit wet from morning dew.
Another trip to Tatras.
